Available communication interfaces include optical probe, NFC, M-Bus, BACnet, Modbus, Sontex bidirectional radio, Wireless M-Bus and LoRaWAN.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTemperature sensors are supplied as matched pairs and must not be separated, shortened or extended. For cable lengths exceeding 3 metres, shielded sensor pairs are recommended.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eMeasurement Technology\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWith mains power, the Supercal 5 S records forward and return temperatures every 3–30 seconds (depending on flow). When powered by a D-type battery, measurement occurs every 10–30 seconds.
