Rubberlined Clip for Insulation

Installing clips around the outside of pipe insulation helps secure the insulation to the pipework and prevent moisture ingress, which could deteriorate the insulation from the inside and reduce its effectiveness.

The rubber lining acts as a protective barrier between the metal clip and the insulation. This is particularly important in warm weather, as exposed metal clips can heat up in direct sunlight. The rubber lining helps prevent the clip from sticking to or damaging the insulation.

For external heat pump installations, it is recommended that insulated pipework is supported with one clip per metre of pipe run to ensure the pipework remains secure and properly aligned.
