SP10 Sensor Overvoltage Protection

The overvoltage protection device SP10 is included in all of our solar thermal kits as standard.

It can be purchased on its own as an accessory for other systems.

In the event of a local thunderstorm, the sensors and controller could be damaged by the induced voltages.

The SP10 helps to reduce these induced voltages to something harmless to the sensor and controller.

For best protection, it should be mounted close to the collector sensor (usually just inside the loft space).
