Project Overview
Secon Renewables, in collaboration with Harron Homes and Panasonic, is embarking on an eight year transformative project aimed at revitalising the brownfield site of Nevison’s Fold in Barnsley through sustainable development. The project involves the installation of cutting-edge Panasonic heat pump systems in newly constructed homes, thereby advancing the agenda of renewable energy adoption while providing comfortable living spaces for residents.
Client Background
Harron Homes, a renowned developer committed to quality and innovation, sought to incorporate sustainable solutions into their housing projects to enhance energy efficiency and reduce carbon footprint. Recognising the potential of renewable energy technologies, Harron Homes partnered with Secon Renewables and Panasonic to deliver this vision to the doorsteps of new home owners.
Location
Surrounded by pretty villages, historic parkland and brimming with heritage and character, Barnsley is a bustling and welcoming town with a great sense of community spirit. Despite this, the brownfield site of Nevison’s Fold currently represents an underdeveloped appearance, reflecting neglect and disuse. However, through strategic development and integration of renewable heating systems, this area is poised for a transformative revival.
Add a tagline
As the project progresses, the infusion of renewable energy technologies provided by Secon Renewables will not only enhance the environmental sustainability but also contribute to the creation of a vibrant and modern community, elevating Nevison's Fold into a desirable and eco-friendly residential locale.
