What Happened?

Secon Renewables, a leading distributor of sustainable energy solutions, recently collaborated with Utilita, a prominent energy supplier, to enhance the skills and expertise of their renewable energy engineers. Secon Renewables’ provision of an Airwell heat pump training rig facilitated the upskilling process Utilita are undertaking to increase the number of renewables engineers in the country that are able to fit heat pumps. This is to tackle fuel poverty while reducing carbon emissions under the Governments Energy Company Obligation (ECO4) scheme.

What is the ECO4 Scheme?
